Fresh bocconcini mozzarella is packed along with water. It needs to be stored at chilled 2-6C conditions. It has fabulous texture and mouthfeel within first 12 days immediately after production. Once the packages are opened, it needs to be consumed immediately. Just drain up water and eat directly, or they can be used as pizza topping. Frozen bocconcini needs a gradual defrosting process before use, so as to match the fresh one.
